Order your business cards, practice your elevator speech, and figure out what "real estate wish" you want to ask for, because we are going networking! Although we know that REIA of Oakland provides exceptional networking opportunities, we realize that it's hard to walk up to each other and just get the conversation flowing. Speed networking takes the fear out of meeting people.
You will need your elevator speech ready because you only get a few minutes to tell the person across from you all the pertinent details about you. Be sure to tell them whether you are a Rehabber, Landlord, Wholesaler, Contractor, or whatever. Tell them you have a property for sale, or that you are looking for a property. Switch roles and listen to your partner. Time's Up! Exchange business cards. Move on to the next person. Repeat.
